Dear Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development,
We as the community of Barolong Boo Modiboa CPA in Potchefstroom, we have written a number of times to the DG Mr. MOOKETSA regarding the appointed Administrator Molefi Kgokong of Kgokong Attorneys' conduct until today we have not received satisfactory response. This office even decided to take us to the elections of the new committee with the same person we feel he is conflicted in our matters as he has his own group with the community and taking decisions for his own benefit and groups he created upon his arrival.
We even asked Hon. Stein/&Afriforum to assist us in this matter, Mr Mooketsa since said he will investigate until now. This department will have problems that are never ending because of appointing Administrators seems like solving problems for them. And it seems like they do not account to any office. The appointed person' term ended in May 2021 after we requested Mr. Ramasodi' intervention from May, we then receive a letter of extension suddenly in Oct 2021 but the letter is dated 6th June 2021. Our government will forever have problems of governance and corrupt activities. This person has not solved anything for us instead we have non beneficiaries benefiting from our projects like issuing farms and Land to them. We since reported the Eskom Project but Mr. Mooketsa never gave us a hearing we had to attend to it by ourselves. Because they entertain this Administrator arrogance of entitlement and ownership of our assets as he says' the bug stops with him. To understand that this office is taking us for fools Sebolai and Ramasodi extends the term of office of this person but we have not even received a single financial report of our assets.
And as a community we want to refrain from closing the N12 so that our plea can be heard but we are being pushed daily. As this department wants us to treat it like Mandela did against the past apartheid law.
Hope our matter will be attended to.
Kind regards,
