Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,

My name is Thahir Najaar and I was retrenched at the end of August 2020. After submitting all necessary information and documentation, my UIF was approved and it is now end of November and the Labour Dept. keep asking for the same documents which I have submitted to them numerous times. I have to travel to go to the bank so they can complete forms which was done and submitted to UIF numerous times now they want me to do it again, which is ridiculous. I have all communication on record and I feel they are deliberately delaying my UIF payments. I am 52 years old and its the first time I am claiming UIF.

Please look into this matter and assist me please.
