Dear Portfolio Committee On Transport, we would like your assistance in getting the government to deliver on the promise they made for over 20 years and are still making until this day. That is the construction of tar road from Sulenkama to Katkop, which a 46 km stretch of neglected gravel road. Not only will this construction of tar road will reduce the current trip of over 150 km to 46 km, it will also connect the police station of Sulenkama to Katkop, which both deal with a large number of cases for stock thelf. Some communities do not have quick road access to the hospital and clinic of Sulenkama and Katkop. Construction of this road will solve a lot of issues from crime, economy and access to healthcare.
