Dear Standing Committee on Auditor General. I would like to ask for assistance regarding a payment made to the Compensation Fund for Return of Earnings for a Letter of good standing. A digit in the reference nr was mistakenly (the last numbers on the ref would still reflect 99% of the ref nr) left out and all the necessary documents were mailed to the Compensation Fund to re-allocate the payment to the correct reference number. This was done 04 May 2026 and it is past the 7-14 working days turnaround time for the query to be resolved. We can't get our Letter of Good Standing due to this issue not resolved in the timeframe the call center told me. I can't understand what can take so long to credit one account and debit another account. Every time I phone they will pass the message on to this person and to that person. The last email I received this was said: Please be advised that the payment has not yet been allocated. However, the matter has been referred to the relevant department for expedited processing. That was Monday 1 June 2026. I check everyday if this has been done. Is there a manager that can be assigned to this case to get it resolved? Regards Theresa
