Dear Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans,

Since we have the so called business empowerment section/department in our head office. Some of us have applied for the empowerment for companies since it was initiated but my company was referred to organizations like SEFA and NEF which didnt assist because they help companies of people they will benefit from, i suppose.

Imagine having sent all the requirement and quotations as advised to do so by business empowerment office of dmv; and all you are told is that the company has to have good financial statement and must have worked and made above five hundred thousands. nd this is the compaany that is looking for the financial support to buy resources for the securuty company and/or contruction.

Here the security company is fully registered but doesnt have resources like guns, vehicles and finance to pay for office monthly rentals and for training purposes. I submitted one of the best business plan but could not be considered for reasons beyond my imaginations.

Please let tge militry veterans handle the allocation or assistance military veterans company on its own because institutions they expect to see assisting are not there to assist us.

Awaiting the implementation of rules that will speedily help our companies to run on their own.
