Dear Portfolio Committee on Police, please can we address these Ministers who speed along our road with their vulgar blue light brigade. These are civil servants paid by the taxpayers of this country and not VIP at all. They are rendering a service to us the Taxpayer for which we pay their salaries. We dont pay for them to ride in these fancy cars speeding and pushing everyone off the road.
Why cant these minister drive without blue lights ? What makes them VIP when they are mere civil servants being paid by the taxpayer.
We never elevated their status to VIP.
It is done in such bad taste to the rest of the country and is shameful to watch.
What do these Civil Servants have to fear?
You only have fear if you are corrupt and doing things that would put your life in danger.
This is a waste of tax payers money and is vulgar to say the least when so many people are poor. All this pomp and ceremony when they have nothing to celebrate and the majority live in poverty in the country.
The only person who should have a blue light brigade is the President and his Deputy.
