Dear Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs,
Second Comment, We hope these comments are giving you insights and help you reverse the cause of South African Immigration is going.
In Gathering comments we would like you to watch a 5 min video on this topic around the world, even though it references the EU and US, its similar issues as in South Africa, this policies will end up enforced via UN and AU as well. Information that politicians deny as their wars and policies created the mess they have in EU and US and South Africa pays.

South Africa is committing suicide. How did this happen?
1.st my allowing massive un documented immigrants to SouthAfrica (many from Muslim countries with a lot terrorism activities) even though accurate answers facts are hard to find and political fact checker (https://africacheck.org/) funded by GoergeSorros and other foreign entities are banned in 7 other countries (https://www.rt.com/russia/323919-soros-foundation-recognized-as-undesirable/)(https://www.rt.com/russia/271456-russia-undesirable-groups-gatilov/)Continue to push open borders & migration to destabilise countries for their owned.
2nd, and equally significant, is that South Africa is feels that it owes Africa, even though its own comrades stayed in those countries fora short period in camps and in many cases they were never welcomed, it was not all the South African Citizens. Even though it has invested billions in economical development in Africa and helped countless others, it still feels the obligation, when North Africa countries remain conservative and prosper.
SA has been forced by international organisations and pseudo NGO’s to open its borders when it cant do so financially or economically, hence the xenophobic attacks – thinner economic opportunities will continue with this regulation, (https://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/south-africa-policy-face-xenophobia). Birth right citizenship regulation will attract more immigrants given birth in SA, SA should follow Morocco,Algeria, Nigeria, China etc when it comes to these regulations.
For decades after apartheid, the government allowed people including enabling laws to do so with ease and less paper work to come as temporary workers, or asylum seekers etc. Nobody in South Africa expected them to stay. Yet they did. And nobody asked them to leave, even those who came illegally. As many thought “Removal takes too long, and it’s emotional.” And AU protocols say it should be done (but others don’t follow through), but this regulation will result in revolts across SA and ANC to lose popularity.
Yet again why would they leave, there is no incentive to leave, and government gives them free R350 and protects them, and there are no laws to protect local South African Citizens which inturn will push south Africans to change their political appetite etc. (https://www.news24.com/news24/southafrica/news/govt-allocates-r6-billion-more-for-special-r350-covid-19-grant-20200806) the issue of fake documents is rampant in South Africa mainly by criminals (https://www.news24.com/news24/mynews24/Fake-South-Africans-20150727)now their children with this regulation.
For example during 2015, Germany and Sweden added 2% to their populations in a single year. By 2017, the most popular boys name in United Kingdom was Muhammad. With an increased exposure to major Muslim countries who do believe in Sharia this can be a concern and birth rate is one of Islamism growth and penetration strategies into countries.
Home affairs wont be able to manage births of illegal or legal immigrants or asylum seekers, specially from countries like Nigeria, Somalia, zim etc and many other Muslim countries South Africa has open itself to, there are no moderates ((https://www.prageru.com/video/where-are-the-moderate-muslims/) (https://www.prageru.com/video/radical-islam-the-most-dangerous-ideology/) (https://www.prageru.com/video/is-islam-a-religion-of-peace/))
A majority of this birth will be none south African and South Africa will incentivise more if this is allowed, and will be the its moral obligation to help them further, just like the US, it’s a trap!, while other countries are never reprimanded or forced to take in immigrants likeother AU member like Egypt or Algeria or Morocco or Nigeria.
South Africans are legitimately angry at the price they have to pay due to illegal immigration (jobless, thin business opportunities etc). But they are also a good non aggressive people like Mandela said before. Once they are assured that home affairs do indeed control SA borders, and don’t give our south African identity away for free, or thank you for liberation or for money and to those that don’t deserve it (by merely jumping a fence and giving birth in South Africa) that anger will abate. A national consensus will emerge. Radical border control, followed by radical legalization. No mushy compromise. A solution requires two acts of national will: putting up a wall (along with E-Verify and visa tracking) and removing those that break the laws of SA after a prison sentence etc. Here some reports not regularly used many reports, that you can also look at.
US reference 1: One study by a Harvard economist examined the effects of the mass migration of Cuban refugees to this country in 1980—the so-called Mariel boatlift. He found that American workers in Miami with a high school education saw their wages fall by more than thirty percent after the refugees arrived. If you believe in supply and demand, this is not surprising. (https://sites.hks.harvard.edu/fs/gborjas/publications/working%20papers/Mariel2015.pdf)
US reference 2: In 1975, Democratic Governor Jerry Brown opposed letting Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees into California saying,"There is something a little strange about saying, 'Let's bring in 500,000 more people' when we can't take care of the one million [Californians] out of work.” (https://www.wsj.com/articles/when-jerry-brown-tried-to-keep-immigrants-out-of-california-1520634989)
US reference 3: Bill Clinton said of illegal immigration in his 1995 State of the Union address: “Americans… are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers.” (https://cis.org/Krikorian/Bill-Clinton-Immigration-Hawk)

After installing a security fence, San Diego saw a reduction of over 90% in illegal border crossings. (https://www.conservativereview.com/articles/border-fences-work)
US reference 9: Border walls have proven to be massively successful in reducing illegal immigration. Israel, Hungary, Macedonia,Bulgaria, Austria, Greece, Spain, and Norway have all concluded that border walls are an essential part of maintaining control of immigration and protecting national security. US reference 10: Border walls can be essential for national security. A security wall helped Israel reduce terrorist infiltration by 90%. After years of persistent Palestinian terrorism, the Israeli government began construction of a security fence along the West Bank in 2003. Israel saw a 90%reduction in terrorist attacks by Palestinians from the West Bank region after completing the fence. (http://www.law.idf.il/351-en/Patzar.aspx)
US reference 11: Border walls have proven to be massively successful in reducing illegal immigration. Like Israel, Hungary, Macedonia,Bulgaria, Austria, Greece, Spain, and Norway have all concluded that border walls are an essential part of maintaining control of immigration and protecting national security.
US reference 12: Border walls work. That’s why European countries like Hungary, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Austria, Greece, Spain, and Norway are building them. Border walls have been used for millennia to protect a state’s sovereignty and promote national security. That’s why many European countries – including Hungary, Macedonia,Bulgaria, Austria, Greece, Spain, and Norway – are constructing walls of their own.
