Dear Portfolio Committee on Basic Education,
it is of great concern that the government is considering passing
a bill which takes away the rights of parents and puts the child
in such a terrible position with regards to their education. The
police barely do their job with the high crime rates yet parents
are to be jailed for not taking their children to school by the
age 5. Are there enough schools?Are there facilities at all
schools to provide adequate education for all subjects? Adding
this Bill not only is detrimental to our children’s education but
to the development and growth of our country. I as a parent of a
child who is currently in the education system DO NOT AGREE NOR
ACCEPT THIS BILL to be approved.
