Dear Portfolio Committee on Labour,
On the 17th of June 2020 i went to the Labour offices in Klerksdorp to submit my application for maternity benefit UIF and i was assisted by the guy call Andile Phika. I submitted all the relevant documents and he told me to wait for several weeks and i will receive feedback. When i returned to Pretoria after my maternity leave, i went to the labour offices in town to follow up on my application and i was told that there's nothing on the system for me. I have sent emails to him trying to make a follow and ask why he did not process my application without any success. On the 30th of July i then went again to the labour offices in Brits to resubmit another application since there was no trace of my first application, i was also told again to wait a few weeks. I have been trying to contact their offices several times but their lines rings without any answer. Please assist me with my application as it looks like i will not receive the help i asked for.
