Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,
I would like to asked the members or our ruling party concerning the age restriction when coming to applying for work nor internships. I'm 47 years old female, I went back to school in 2015 upgrading my matric at ABET and that didn't help as the module I upgraded was not included to my certificate. But i decided to go to college there after university. I cannot get any internships because of my age nor jobs, even public sector's they are doing what was started by the goverment. So what I would like to know is, when you are 36 years above you are no longer a youth? If so that category falls under what because from 60 years old its pensioners. We are told to go to school but that doesn't help because now you are discriminating us whereas I myself was trying to better my life but it seems I wasted my time. Please respond to me of which category 36 to 59 falls under.
Thanks
