Dear Portfolio Committee on Higher Education, I am writing to respectfully request that the department consider allocating funds and resources to establish a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college in Estcourt, Wembezi Township Ward 09.

As an current university student in the foreign province, I believe that this initiative will significantly benefit the local community by providing access to quality education and skills development opportunities. This will, in turn, contribute to the economic growth and development of the area.

The establishment of a TVET college in our ward will address the skills gap and unemployment challenges faced by our youth, empowering them with the necessary skills to secure employment or become entrepreneurs. I kindly request that the department consider this proposal and explore possibilities for implementation. I am available to discuss this further and provide any necessary support.
