Dear Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA),

Our house at 19 Westview Place Hayfields in Pietermaritzburg was sold on the 5th November 2019.
We now reside in Scottburgh and have never received our share of the over payment that we had to pay for water, electricity and rates.
Every few days I receive threatening SMS's that I must settle my account. They have threatened to blacklist me, cut me off and hand me over.
They never send me a statement and never reply to my query.
I was assured that this money was handed over to the department for payment to me and that the account was being closed.
The account is still open and I have not received a cent into my bank account.
If necessary I can send scanned documents but am not sure how to include them in this document, so I will wait for your reply
